Friday’s high school basketball roundup
Blowouts were more the rule than the exception in Friday night’s area boys basketball sectional semifinals.
Only in Class 1A were any games decided by fewer than nine points.
Meanwhile, in Michigan, five area girls basketball teams claimed district championships, including unbeaten and top-ranked Brandywine.
Here is the Friday night scoreboard. Indiana boys winners play for sectional championships Saturday night. Michigan girls winners play in regionals beginning Tuesday night.
