Kiyla Eberhart was sensational in the circle in just her 2nd night of pitching for the season as she out dueled Tippy Valley’s Dalynne Bussard Thursday night as Jimtown won 2-1 in a critical Northern State Conference softball showdown.

With the win, Jimtown remains undefeated in conference play at 5-0, opening up a 2-game lead on Tippy Valley midway through the conference slate.

Eberhart has been Jimtown’s top hitter all season but a nagging leg injury prevented her from pitching outside of just one game before. After a little bit of a slow start, she settled into a fabulous groove. Eberhart struck out nine while giving up just 3 hits and one run in a complete game effort. Eberhart was our Reliance Player of the Game.

Jimtown sophomore Olivia Campbell’s 2-run single drove in the only runs for Jimtown, earning it the Big C Lumber Big Play of the Game.
