Quad strain sidelines Clark
(Indianapolis) — The WNBA’S brightest star won’t be shining the next two weeks.
The Indiana Fever announced Monday that its star, Caitlin Clark, will be out at least two weeks with a left quad strain.
Further updates will be provided on Clark following re-evaluation, the team said.
Last year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year and a first-team all-league selection, Clark is averaging 19.0 points and a league-best 9.3 assists through four games this year.
This marks the first regular season games Clark will have missed in her young WNBA career.
The 2-2 Fever face 3-1 Washington Wednesday.
