Three golfers from the Sports Michiana coverage area were named to the All-State team by the Indiana High School Golf Coaches Association.
Seniors Brayden Miller of Fairfield and Silas Haarer of Westview and Elkhart freshman Ben Divido all made the 20-man squad.
Miller, the 2024 State Champion, was named the first recipient of the Mr. Golf award at this year’s state finals. The Falcon senior finished tied for 8th in the state this season and will start his college golf career at the University of Cincinnati.
Haarer, who topped Miller with a 63 for the sectional championship earlier this spring, finished 11th in this year’s state finals. His top finish in his career was third in his sophomore year. Haarer will attend Liberty to begin his college golf career.
Divido led Elkhart to its best golf season since the consolidation of the two high schools. After leading the Lions to a state title berth, the lithe freshman tied for 12th in the state individually with a two-round score of 146 at the state finals.
