One month before the first high school football games kickoff in Indiana, Sports Michiana is announcing it’s schedule for the Game of the Week through the first five weeks of the season.

August 22: North Judson at Knox | 8pm ET
August 29:  Mishawaka at Penn | 7pm
September 5: Edwardsburg at St. Joe (MI) | 7pm
September 12: Marian at SB Saint Joe | 7pm
September 19: Concord at Warsaw | 7pm

For the 2nd year in a row, the Sports Michiana Game of the Week will start with a Starke County rivalry as Knox will play host to North Judson on August 22nd. The game will kickoff at 8pm ET with pregame coverage starting at 7:45pm.

Rivalries are a theme of the early part of the season as we shift to Michiana’s biggest rivalry game in week two when Penn welcomes in neighbor Mishawaka in the Backyard Brawl. The Kingsmen will be looking to bounce back after the Cavemen took home the victory last year.

In our quest to get all around Michiana, we head north to Michigan on September 5th as two of area’s very best programs north of the border square off when St. Joseph (MI) hosts Edwardsburg.

On September 12th, it’s another huge rivalry game as Marian travels to SB Saint Joseph in the Holy War.

The Northern Lakes Conference takes center stage in Week 5 as Warsaw entertains Concord in a rematch of last year’s sectional championship classic on September 19th.

Games two through five will kickoff at 7pm with pregame coverage starting at 6:45pm.

We will announce games for Week 6 and beyond as we get into the season. The Sports Michiana HS Football Game of the Week will air through SemiState as it did last year.
