Cubs, Tigers learn postseason schedule
Both the Chicago Cubs and Detroit Tigers will create distractions for Michiana school kids and workers this week.
Both teams are slated for afternoon series as the wild card round of the Major League Baseball playoffs begin Tuesday.
The Tigers will visit Cleveland for a best-of-three series that starts Tuesday afternoon at 1. Cleveland received home field based on winning the American League Central title on the final day of the season.
The Cubs will be in the “Friendly Confines” of Wrigley Field for a best-of-three with San Diego. The Cubs get home field for the first round of the postseason based on having the better record between the two wild card teams. The first pitch Tuesday afternoon is at 3:08 p.m. on ABC.
