Saint Joseph will host Hobart for the 4A Regional Championship Friday night in our Sports Michiana Game of the Week.

Saint Joe, now 11-1 on the season, is one of the best stories in Michiana in 2025. The Huskies defeated Mishawaka Friday in a defensive showdown to capture their first sectional championship since 2015. Their 11 wins so far are Saint Joe’s most since winning 12 games in 2011 when they last played for a state championship. Their lone loss is to Penn, who plays for a 6A Regional Championship this week.

Hobart is in regionals for the first time since 2020, when they went to the state finals. The Brickies are 10-2, defeating Lowell 35-15 for the sectional championship.

It will be Sports Michiana’s first trip to Saint Joe this postseason. The game will be broadcast on the Sports Michiana page of IHSAATV. The easiest path to get to our broadcast is going to sportsmichiana.com/watch and it will re-direct you right to our broadcast on Friday night.

It’s the first meeting between Saint Joseph and Hobart since 2017 when Saint Joe won in the sectional opener.
