In statements on Instagram Tuesday and Wednesday, Notre Dame All-America running backs Jeremiyah Love  and Jadaraian Price announced they have declared for the NFL Draft.

On Instagram, Love wrote “I know I am prepared for this moment because of the amazing people I have in my life and I want to thank them now.” Love went on to thank God, his parents, coaches, teammates, support staff and his fellow students.

Love closed his statement saying “It is with a wealth of gratitude I will take the many experiences Notre Dame has given me and apply those lessons learned as I move on to the next level. I look forward to representing my family and Notre Dame in the NFL.”

Love won the Doak Walker Award, bestowed to the nation’s outstanding college running back and finished third in the Heisman Trophy balloting.  He finished his career with 2882 yards (1372 this season), 42 touchdowns (36 rushing, 6 receiving) and a career average of 6.7 yards per carry.

Love is widely regarded as the top running back for the draft and expected to goin the upper half of the first round.

Price was named a first-tam All-America running back by the Sporting News Wednesday. In his Notre Dame career, the Texas native rushed for 1692 yards and 21 touchdowns, while also returning three kickoffs for touchdowns…two of them happening in games vs. USC.

Price is ranked by ESPN’s Mel Kiper as the second-best running back in this year’s draft class and is expected to be a Day 2 (round two and three) selection with value as both a running back and kick returner.
