Sports Michiana is excited to announce our broadcast schedule for the Sports Michiana Basketball Game of the Week for the first six weeks of 2026. You can watch each game on our Sports Michiana page of IHSAA TV. All regular season games will be broadcast on our Sports Michiana Facebook & YouTube and WSBT’s Facebook & YouTube.

2026 on Sports Michiana tips off with arguably the two best boys teams and the two best girls teams in Michiana battling it out. On Friday January 9th, 3A state champion Saint Joseph plays host to Riley in an NIC boys basketball clash that should be one of the highest scoring games of the season. Then on Saturday January 10th, 4A state runner up Warsaw welcomes in Northridge in a game that will almost certainly decide the NLC girls champion.

We head back to the Tiger Den on January 10th as the Warsaw boys entertain NLC leading Goshen. The RedHawks are off to their best start to a season since 1987.

On January 23rd, its a blockbuster girls/boys doubleheader as Westview travels to Fairfield. All four teams are having outstanding seasons. The girls will tipoff at 6pm with the boys game to follow, both on Sports Michiana.

The Northern Indiana Conference gets the spotlight back on January 30th when Adams goes on the road to Penn in another matchup of upper echelon NIC boys teams.

On February 6th, we’ll feature the IHSAA Girls Sectional Semifinals and then on February 14th its the IHSAA Girls Regionals. Sandwiched between, it’s the Holy War on the Hardwood as Saint Joseph squares off with Marian in boys basketball on February 13th.

We’ll also have regular season boys basketball broadcasts on February 20th and February 24th. Those matchups will be announced as we move closer.

We close out our basketball broadcast schedule with the IHSAA boys tournament as we feature the boys sectional semifinals on March 6th, sectional finals on March 7th and regionals on March 14th.
