It’s a big boys basketball in the Northern Indiana Conference tonight as Penn (10-3) plays host to John Adams (10-3) in our Sports Michiana Game of the Week.

Penn is ranked #14 in the state in the IBCA all class Poll. The Kingsmen are 2-0 so far in NIC play. Adams started the season 10-0 but have lost three games. They are 1-1 in the NIC and in the middle of a treacherous stretch of their schedule.

Both teams are also in a loaded 7-team 4A sectional at Mishawaka that also includes Saint Joseph, Riley, Michigan City, LaPorte and the host Cavemen. The sectional is one of just three in the state with five teams ranked in the top 75 of the Sagarin Rankings.

Tipoff tonight is set for around 7:30pm with pregame coverage starting around 7:15pm.
