High School Basketball scores for Tuesday February 10th
Elijah King scored 17 points, Braylen White added 16 and the Saint Joseph boys basketball team outscored Penn 21-10 in the 4th quarter to rally to a 67-58 win Tuesday.
The Huskies take over sole possession of 1st place in the Northern Indiana Conference with the win as they improve to 5-0 in NIC play. Saint Joe will host arch rival Marian, a 61-54 non conference winner over Jimtown, Friday on the Sports Michiana Game of the Week.
With the loss, Penn drops to 4-1 in the NIC and into a 2nd place tie with Riley, who defeated Adams 87-67.
Other highlights from Tuesday’s action included Chase Devine scoring 20 points to become Bremen’s all time leading scorer in the 59-36 Lions victory over New Prairie. Devine now sits at 1,278 career points. Devine and Bremen will appear on the Sports Michiana Game of the Week in two weeks when they host Triton.
