Northridge and Warsaw will battle for the 4A Sectional Championship at Elkhart’s North Side Gym Saturday night but each took different paths to the title game.

#6 Northridge (23-1) avenged their only loss of the season, defeating Goshen 53-29. The Raiders led 28-26 with 1:30 left in the 3rd quarter before going on a 19-0 run to put the game away. Brady Scholl scored 13 of his 17 points in the 4th quarter while also finishing with 16 rebounds and six blocks. He was our Reliance Player of the Game.

Warsaw blew a 17 point 1st half lead falling behind Elkhart by 2 late in the game before Sam Lara hit the game winning free throws with 17 seconds remaining as the Tigers survived 37-35 in a low scoring game in the opening game at Elkhart. Lara finished with 9 points and was our Reliance Player of the Game while Drew Jones led the Tigers with 14 points.
