Leeper steps down as Bremen football coach
(Bremen) — After nine seasons as Bremen football coach, Jordan Leeper is stepping down, citing health reasons.
In a letter to the Bremen football community posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Leeper wrote “I have informed Bremen’s administration of my resignation as Bremen’s Football Coach. Due to personal health concerns, I will not be able to fulfill the responsibilities that come with coaching at this time. Making this decision was extremely difficult because of the respect I have for Bremen and the passion I have for Bremen football.”
Leeper was 62-44 during his nine seasons with the Lions, leading his alma mater to a regional championship in 2018.
There are now two football coaching openings in the area, as New Prairie also remains vacant after Casey McKim left to coach at Lowell.
