(Notre Dame) — The early harvest of transfers from the 2025 portal for Notre Dame women’s basketball has not featured a double-digit scoring avreage.

That changed Monday.

On3Sports’ Talia Goodman reports that Vanderbilt’s Iyana Moore will join Niele Ivey’s squad for the upcoming season. A three-year starting guard for the Commodores, Moore entered the portal as a grad transfer. She  played over 31 minutes per game last season and averaged 12.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game while posting a .371 field goal percentage.

Moore should be a complement to All-America guard Hannah Hidalgo in this year’s Irish backcourt. With Hidalgo playing more point guard, it will allows Moore to be a slasher and scorer. A big part of her game is getting to the free throw line, where she was an 83 percent foul shooter last season.

Moore joins Wake Forest’s Malaya Cowles, Kansas State’s Gisela Sanchez, Duke’s Vanessa de Jesus and Loyola (Md)’s Kelly Ratigan as incoming transfers for the Irish women’s basketball program.
