Scholl sets record, breaks 1000-point mark in Monday hoops action
(Kokomo) — Monday morning was a busy one for Northridge senior Brady Scholl.
The Indiana Wesleyan commit scored 40 points to lead the 18th-ranked Raiders past Merrillville, 76-64, at the Phil Cox tourney here at Memorial Gymnasium.
The 40 points marks a tournament record. It also pushed Scholl past the 1000-point mark for his career.
Scholl becomes the 11th 1000-point scorer in Northridge boys basketball history.

- Drew Dixon nailed a three at the buzzer as South Bend Adams stayed unbeaten with a 60-57 triumph over Columbia City at the Huntington North Classic. Dixon finished with 30 points for the 6-0 Eagles
- Winamac raised its record to 7-1 with a 47-33 triumph over Frankfort in the opening round of the Indiana Kitchen Classic at Delphi
- Michigan City Marquette became the last of the girls unbeatens to fall, losing to #14 Northridge, 55-36, in the opening round of the Interra Classic in Middlebury.
