Joslyn Bricker scored 28 of Warsaw’s 43 points as the #1 ranked Lady Tigers beat rival Northridge 43-32 Saturday night to take over sole possession of first place in the Northern Lakes Conference on our Sports Michiana Game of the Week.

It’s the 13th straight win for Warsaw, which is now 18-1 on the season and 4-0 in the NLC. Northridge falls to 14-5 overall and 3-1 in the NLC.

Bricker was our Reliance Player of the Game, making 11 of 19 shots on the night. She also had five rebounds and 4 steals.

Warsaw’s defense was the story, holding Northridge to just nine 2nd half points and holding Raiders star Lily Scholl to just 6 total points. Scholl battled foul trouble throughout the night.

Northridge’s defense was also superb, preventing star shooter Brooke Zartman from making a single 3 pointer in the game.

Zoe Yeater lead Northridge with 11 points.

The two teams are likely to meet again in sectionals.
