Here’s the high school basketball roundup for games of Tuesday, Dec. 10

BOYS

  • The big matchup of the night featured 3A #2 St. Joseph visiting 1A #2 Michigan City Marquette. Nick Shrewsberry poured in 21 and Chase Konieczny added 20 as Saint Joseph prevailed 77-62. The Huskies are now 4-0
  • In fact, no high school boys basketball team has lost this season. Adams moved to 4-0 with a 53-45 interstate win over Berrien Springs. Kalen Allen scored 25 to lead the Eagles. With Riley’s win over Plymouth, the three South Bend city schools are a combined 13-0.
  • Levi Sawatzky poured in 23 points, as Goshen rallied to beat county rival Elkhart, 55-43.

GIRLS

  • In a battle of 8-1 team, Northridge crushed Northern Lakes Conference foe Wawasee, 70-26. The 8th-ranked Raiders broke the game open with a 20-0 run to start the 2nd quarter. Lily Scholl paced all scorers with 19.
  • NorthWood is now 8-1 after picking up a road win at St. Joseph, 45-40.
  • Bremen is also 8-1, holding off a stubborn Concord team, 43-36, in the Lions Den
