Miles records 5th triple double as Irish women dominate Loyola

Olivia Miles recorded a Notre Dame record 5th triple double as the 3rd ranked Irish women’s basketball team cruised to a 97-54 win over Loyola Maryland Sunday afternoon at Purcell Pavilion.
Miles scored 18 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in the victory as Notre Dame improved to 10-2. Notre Dame made 10 of their 20 3-point attempts in the game, led by Miles and Hannah Hidalgo who each made 4.
Hidalgo led all scores with 33 points on 13-of-19 shooting while also swiping five steals.
Four Notre Dame players finished in double figures. Pitt transfer Liatu King had a double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds while Marquette transfer Liza Karlen scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in just her 3rd game of the season.
Notre Dame returns to action next Sunday when they host Virginia at Noon in ACC action.
