Five Sports Michiana area wrestlers captured IHSAA Semi-State championships on Saturday.

Travis Henke (Northridge)
Horn, Huyvaert, Staples & Freeman competed in the SemiState at East Chicago while Henke took part in the SemiState in Fort Wayne.
Other Sports Michiana area guaranteed state qualifiers from the East Chicago SemiState include: Mishawaka’s Chance Smith (120), Penn’s Angelo Vargo (126), LaPorte’s Josh England (138), Rochester’s Brant Beck (157), Penn’s Leonardo Santiago (165), New Prairie’s Hayden Whitenack (175), Rochester’s Wyatt Davis (175), New Prairie’s Devin Kendrex (190), Penn’s Alessio Retzloff (190), Penn’s Malachi Evans (215), Winamac’s Talen Garner (215) and Rochester’s Declan Gard (285).
