When the final seconds ran off the clock at Sylvester Field, the rush onto the field was a big one as Buchanan defeated rival Berrien Springs 16-13 on the Sports Michiana Game of the Week.

Max Cornelius rushed for 141 yards as the Bucks spoiled homecoming for their neighbors to the north. Cornelius was our Reliance Player of the Game.

Buchanan improves to 4-1 on the season while the loss is the first of the year for Berrien Springs.

Carson Deming provided the Big C Lumber Big Play of the Game with a back breaking 63-yard touchdown run with 32 seconds left in the 3rd quarter that put the Bucks up 16-6.
