Former conference foes will meet in the Sports Michiana Game of the Week Friday when Jimtown plays hosts to New Prairie in boys basketball.

Both teams feature new coaches this season with Ryan Varga taking over at Jimtown after eight seasons at Washington. Former Penn high school and Bethel standout Drew Lutz is in his first season overall as a head coach, now leading the Cougars.

Jimtown is 2-1 to start the year after a run to SemiState last season. New Prairie is 1-3 but have been competitive in each of its 3 losses, which is a big improvement from last season.
