It was another Friday night of big performances on the area high school football fields.

On our Sports Michiana Game of the Week, 4A #5 Saint Joseph throttles archrival Marian, 44-9. Sam Scicchitano threw for three touchdown passes, while the Saint Joseph defense held Marian without a first down for the first 44 minutes of the game.

• NLC: Warsaw and Northridge both advanced to 4-0 with impressive wins. Tucker Reed accounted for three touchdowns, as Warsaw stifled Mishawaka, 43-7. Luke Amstutz’ Northridge squad sets a program record for points, dismantling Wawasee, 64-6.
• INSC: Tippecanoe Valley rallies from a 12-point deficit to beat Knox, 21-18. It’s the first time the Vikings (3-1) have won their conference opener.
• NECC: Fairfield turned on the jets in the second half, coming from behind to beat Lakeland, 35-14
• Michigan: Ish Dixon runs for four touchdowns, as Saint Joseph wins the “War by the Shore”, 45-10, over Lakeshore.
