Local alums announce plans to transfer
A pair of names very familiar to local high school fans have announced their plans to enter college football’s transfer portal.
NorthWood alum Nitro Tuggle is leaving Georgia after his freshman season. Tuggle played in six games for the SEC Champions, catching three passes. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
New Prairie alum Hunter Whitenack is leaving Illinois with two years of eligibility remaining. The 6-7, 340-pound Whitenack played in 28 games in his Illini career, starting four of them at guard.
