Irish Football Fix: Notre Dame beats Georgia; Penn St up next in CFP Semis!
On the January 6th, 2025 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union’s Irish Football Fix, hosts Chuck Freeby and Angelo Di Carlo discuss Notre Dame’s historic win over Georgia in the Sugar Bowl and preview their Orange Bowl matchup with Penn State this week in the College Football Playoff Semifinals.
In segment 1, we look at the big storylines including where the Sugar Bowl win ranks over the last 35 years in terms of ND football victories. We’ll hear from Marcus Freeman on blocking out the noise and look at how the extra days of rest for Penn State could play a factor with players that are battling injuries on both teams.
