Bremen sweeps Bi-County Tournament
(Lakeville) — A Green Machine rolled through Dale Cox Gymnasium this week.
For the first time since 1990, Bremen’s boys and girls basketball teams swept both championships at the annual Bi-County Tournament on tbe campus of LaVille High School.
Bremen’s boys basketball team remained unbeaten on the season, steamrolling Culver in the championship game, 58-26. Tournament MVP Chase Devine scored 21 points to lead the 13-0 Lions.
In the girls tournament, Bremen ran its record to 20-1, prevailing over John Glenn, 52-2o. Lions star Eliana Grubbs scored 22 on her way to MVP honors, while teammate Emma Kincaid added 15. That put Kincaid over the 1000-point mark for her career.
