Five area girls teams claim regional crowns

It was a good day for girls basketball teams in the Sports Michiana coverage area, as five schools claimed regional titles.

Northridge (4A), Fairfield and Culver Academies (3A), Bremen (2A) and Elkhart Christian (1A) all hoisted trophies.

SemiState pairings and locations will be announced Sunday at 2 p.m. on IHSAA TV
