The Top 10 small school showdown between Bremen and Triton didn’t live up to the billing Tuesday night as the Trojans dominated the Lions from start to finish en route to a 50-37 win in our Sports Michiana Game of the Week.

Julian Swanson scored 18 points to lead the way and Triton used a smothering defense to avenge one of their three losses from the regular season when they fell to Bremen in the Bi-County Tournament. It’s the 8th straight win for Triton, which improves to 18-3 on the season.

Bremen star Chase Devine, who averages 22 points per game, finished with just eight points. Devine, who missed Friday’s game due to the stomach flu, was clearly not himself on the night. The loss is the 3rd straight for Bremen, which falls to 18-4 after a 15-0 start to the year.
