(Benton) — You could say Brodie Garber went back home. Then again, he never left Fairfield.

Two years ago, Garber left the Fairfield girls basketball program and became the boys’ head coach. Tuesday, he reversed field and returned to lead the Falcon girls after the departure of Kyle Hartman for Warsaw.

“I am extremely excited to come back to lead the girls’ program at Fairfield,” said the veteran coach. “I am looking forward to getting into the gym with our girls right away this summer.”

Garber led the Falcon girls from 2012-2023 with 10 winning seasons, including 4 sectional titles, 3 regional crowns, and the 3A State Championship in 2023.
He had success with the boys as well, posting 13-10 and 16-6 seasons in his two years at the helm.
Garber takes over a girls team that went 20-7 while reaching the 3A semistate last season and returns one of its top scorers in Madison Jones.
