A few weeks ago, former Irish offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer joined us on Focus on Faith and declared that Fr. Nate was the most influential person in his faith journey.

“I listened to that interview with tears in my eyes because very few people get to see the fruit of their work,” Fr. Nate told Sports Michiana. “You’re a parent. You think about the hours and love and sacrifice that parents pour into their children. And in many ways, you probably never get the thanks from them that you deserve, to be sure. And I think a lot of priests are the same way.”

In this year’s conversation, Fr. Nate also discusses the personal meaning to facing Wisconsin at Lambeau Field, the good work being done at the Alliance for Catholic Education, reactions of his book one year later and celebrating 20 years of being a priest.
