Holiday tournaments and invitationals passed out plenty of hardware to Michiana teams on Saturday. Here’s a recap.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Northridge, ranked 6th in the USA Today Class 4A poll, won its second consecutive LaPorte Holiday Tournament with a 79-56 win over the host Slicers. Kam Radeker buried seven three-pointers in a 24-point effort to lead the Raiders.
South Bend Washington reigns as the champion of the Lafayette Harrison tournament. Junior Steven Reynolds poured in a career-high and school record 50 as the Panthers handed coach Ryan Varga his 100th win with an 87-51 demolition of Hobart.

Marvin Schindler scored his 1000th career point, as Riley downed Pike, 71-67, at the Paul Loggan North Central Tourney.
4A Fourth-ranked Warsaw suffered a pair of losses at the Hall of Fame Tournament in New Castle. Top-ranked Fishers rallied in the fourth quarter to top Warsaw, 54-51, in the morning round, despite 21 points from Robbie Finlinson. In the consolation game, the Tigers succumbed to Jeffersonville, 51-44.

10th-ranked Northridge reigns as champions of the Interra Classic in Middlebury. Lily School earned tourney MVP honors with a 28-point performance in a 54-53 overtime win over Penn. In that game, Kingsmen sharpshooter Jessa Troy eclipsed the 1000-point mark of her career.
Class 1A 3rd-ranked Marquette Catholic lost a heartbreaker at the Brebeuf Classic, losing to the host school in overtime of the title game, 51-47. Laniah Davis scored 30 for the Blazers, but Brebeuf was 7-of-7 from three-point range in the second half.
