Irish women torch Stanford 96-47

It was a good ole fashion beat down as the 3rd ranked Irish women’s basketball team won their 20th game of the season, torching Stanford 96-47 Thursday night at Purcell Pavilion.
Hannah Hidalgo led the way with 24 points while Olivia Miles added 20 as Notre Dame remained unbeaten in ACC play. The Irish are now 11-0 in league play and 20-2 overall, having won 15 straight games.
Four Notre Dame players finished in double figures with Maddy Westbeld and Cassan Prosper each scoring 13.
As a team, Notre Dame shot 55% from the field, went 9-17 from 3-point range, and 15-17 from the free throw line. The hottest shooting came in the 2nd quarter when Notre Dame made 13-17 shots for 33 points, including going a perfect 4-4 from 3.
Ivey’s Irish shoot for their 21st win on the season Sunday at 2pm against Cal at Purcell Pavilion.
