Penn, Warsaw & Wawasee win Boys Swimming Sectional Titles
The Penn, Warsaw and Wawasee boys swimming and diving teams won sectional championships on Saturday.
Penn set a new IHSAA State record for most points scored at a boys sectional meet with 590 points as they swept (1-2-3) in every swimming event while also qualifying two divers for regionals. It’s the 3rd straight sectional title for the Kingsmen and 24th in program history.

Wawasee captured their first boys swimming sectional championship since 2007 and 10th overall thanks to a 436 point effort at Concord. The host Minutemen finished 2nd followed by Northridge.

Warsaw captured its 24th sectional title, winning in their home pool with 487 points. Culver Academies finished 2nd.

The swimming state finals are set for next Friday & Saturday at IU.
