When Penn and Elkhart meet in football, we like to call it big boy football.

On Friday night, it was a big boy beatdown as the Kingsmen jumped out to a 28-0 1st quarter lead on their way to a 48-7 victory over the Lions to repeat as 6A Sectional Champions in the Sports Michiana Game of the Week.

Senior wide receiver Buddy Hurley was our Hawkins Water Tech Player of the game, catching five passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Senior quarterback Landon Hall finished with 203 yards and three touchdowns in a quarter and a half of work.

The 6th ranked Kingsmen are now 11-0 on the season and will travel to Crown Point next week in the 6A Regional.
